Breac.House is a modern retreat at the far edge of Ireland. Located on Horn Head overlooking Dunfanaghy village, Sheephaven Bay and Muckish mountain, Breac.House is the perfect place to leave the world behind.
Designed by award-winning local architects, and built by a team of local tradesmen, the house is spacious and striking while at the same time extremely sensitive to its surroundings, becoming part of the landscape rather than standing against it.
Relax on your private balcony or terrace, in our library, by the fireside in the lounge, in the garden or beside the open outdoor fire. Or you can soak in a revitalising seaweed bath.
Rooms are equipped with everything you need for your stay. The handmade oak servery unit contains daily essentials such as complimentary bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities and some daily treats. Enjoy your breakfast, arriving as if by magic through your hatch — in bed, at your window seat, or wrap up in a tweed throw and savour on your own terrace or balcony.
Explore the magical Horn Head and surrounding area on foot or on one of our custom-made bikes, with our handmade backpacks and homemade picnic. Head off on a journey over hills and along clifftops at the edge of Europe. Whether you want to lose yourself in nature or throw yourself into the Atlantic ocean, there’s something here for everybody.
